Representative Matters:
Richardson Law Group represented one of the largest pork producers in the nation in a class action lawsuit. In Powell, we played a key role in dismissing the majority of the plaintiffs' complaints and, in turn, decertifying the class, thereby significantly limiting its client’s possible exposure. 2013 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 32229 (W.D. Ky. Mar. 8, 2013); 2013 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 32231 (W.D. Ky. Mar. 8, 2013); 2013 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 120448 (W.D. Ky. 2013). Three years later, we represented those same defendants and successfully dismissed plaintiffs’ claims for lack of jurisdiction.
In the bellwether case of a complex, mass tort action, we were able to get our client, a third-party medical billing service, dismissed on summary judgment. Adams, et. al. v. Catholic Health Initiatives, Inc., et. al. Laurel Circuit Court 12-CI-00802.
We successfully dismissed a federal class tort action against our clients, clinical laboratory testing companies, for lack of jurisdiction. Criswell v. Compliance Advantage, LLC. United States District Court 5:16-423-DCR.
We successfully reached a settlement agreement for our clients, defendants in an agricultural tort action, resulting in a dismissal of the suit. Smith v. Southern States Cooperative, Inc. Taylor Circuit Court 10-CI-00549.
