Johnson v. Steckel, 00-CI-4091. Lisa Johnson was stopped at a red light when her vehicle was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by Pamela Steckel. Johnson complained of C6-7 disc injury and filed suit against Steckel. Richardson Law Group defended. Prior to trial, Richardson Law Group secured dismissal of Johnson’s claims of impairment and future medical expenses. At trial, Richardson Law Group presented photographic evidence that the collision was minor. The jury, not convinced that Johnson’s alleged injuries were caused by such a minor accident, rejected her claim and returned a verdict for the defense. See KYTCR report
